Born at the end of 2006, Twin Thousands is Gretta Cohn (Cursive, Bright Eyes, Saddle Creek Records) and Ryan Smith (The Silent League, A Million Billion, Stars Like Fleas).

Their new single 'Like You A Lot' makes a strong bid for indie-pop single of the summer, with densely layered propulsive acoustic guitars, mandolins, ukuleles sitting happily alongside vintage Buchla synths, brass by Kelly Pratt (currently of the Arcade Fire's live band), and choruses that suggest Low on Prozac and everything else that is good about underground pop music.

This is the first in a series of highly limited edition, hand numbered releases from EXERCISE1 Records.

The physical release will be available on highly limited edition CD - only 500 copies will be pressed!. Each copy includes a different screen printed insert, painstakingly hand-made by members of the band, and a 7" pin badge. They are also each hand numbered to complete that limited edition feel.

The track will also be available on iTunes, exclusively to UK customers.

The band is currently at work on a full length LP and will tour the UK in July 2007, with the single set to be released on July 23rd.
